The Reiger MT RC 2.5 is a 3-way off-road damper with classic monotube technology (single-tube design) and an external reservoir. With this, you are equipped for fast washboard roads, rocky coastal tracks in Australia, dusty desert routes in Namibia, or a long, comfortable holiday trip with the family. We rethink suspension and have developed the Reiger MT RC 2.5 so that road and off-road harmonize. The core of the system is the monotube architecture with a large hydraulic working area: During compression, the piston rod displaces oil through the specific compression valve into the reservoir, with the reservoir serving as an expansion tank and ensuring constant system pressure. During rebound, the oil is pushed through the main piston. Separate adjusters for high and low-speed compression and rebound allow you to precisely adjust the damper to your needs.
The Dakar-proven design includes vehicle-specific tuned pressure valves, a needle valve in the rebound, a hydraulic bump stop, and a thick-walled, corrosion-resistant aluminum housing. The distinctive purple reservoirs offer excellent heat dissipation and the unmistakable Reiger appearance. A parts certificate is available for almost all vehicles. The lift kit provides more ground clearance and space for larger tires without affecting the vehicle's kinematics.
