If the mounting kit is used in public road traffic in conjunction with a steel rope, the roller fairlead must be covered by the cover (available separately).
The mounting kits are individually developed for each vehicle type. Of course, attention is paid to off-road characteristics so that, for example, the approach angle is not too severely affected, yet ease of use is ensured. But we not only pay attention to driving impairment, but also to all legal regulations that must be complied with.
In the so-called hidden mounting kits for winches, the winches are integrated into the original bumper as much as possible. This hidden winch mounting has the following advantage: the winch always remains on the vehicle and is ready for use at any time. Even with oblique pulling direction, higher pulling forces can be achieved than with flexible systems. Hidden mounting kits are available for many off-road vehicles from e.g. Jeep, Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Suzuki and many more. And pickups of all brands, such as Ford, Isuzu, or VW.
These mounting kits do not include the extension rod kit and freewheel lever, as the type of winch used must be known for this.
