Differences between the variants:

Basic Kit:

The VB-SemiAir basic system allows the spring force to be adjusted within certain limits. For vehicles with leaf spring suspension, air springs are installed between the frame and the rear axle. The air spring assists the existing leaf spring. The VB-SemiAir basic system is therefore the right choice for vehicles that are usually heavy and only occasionally have varying loads (the pressure can remain almost constant). The VB-SemiAir basic system must be pressurized externally, for example with a tire inflator.

Basic Kit Plus:

Like the basic kit, but with a pressure gauge and universal mounting, e.g., driver's seat console or side panel, etc.

Comfort Kit:

The VB-SemiAir comfort system offers limited manual adjustment of the spring force. In vehicles with leaf spring suspension, an air spring is installed between the frame and the rear axle. This air spring assists the existing leaf spring. The VB-SemiAir comfort system is therefore the right choice for vehicles that are regularly subjected to heavy and varying loads.

The VB-SemiAir comfort system comprises the VB-SemiAir basic system, a control unit with two pressure gauges, two up/down switches, and a robust, high-performance compressor. The up/down switches allow for easy adjustment of the ride height. The pressure gauges accurately display the pressure (in bar) in the air springs, making inflation simple.
