Enormous airflow is just one aspect of the ultimate snorkel design. The Safari Snorkel air intake performs two very important functions. The most obvious is to direct cool, clean air into the snorkel body—but just as importantly, the Safari air piston acts as a highly efficient water separator, removing rainwater from the incoming airstream—ensuring safe engine operation even in the most violent tropical storms.
