Suitable for raised vehicles. This set was developed so that the original underrun protection can be reinstalled. All required parts are included in the delivery.
When vehicles are raised, the constant velocity joints are placed at a greater angle, which helps accelerate wear on the joint and places additional stress on the joint boots, leading to splitting and premature joint failure.
The mounting kit corrects the geometry of the front axles and the constant velocity joints by lowering the front differential by approx. 25 mm.
By reducing the angle at which the constant velocity joints operate, the expensive costs of replacing constant velocity joints and boots are avoided.
This wear is accelerated when larger and wider wheels and tires are fitted.
