The REDARC BCDC1225D for the engine bay is a 12V 25A DC/DC battery charger. It is equipped with an MPPT solar controller (Maximum Power Point Tracking), which can charge from both the solar system and the alternator at the same time. And with the integrated "Green Power Priority", it prioritizes solar charging, which means less strain on the alternator.

The device is suitable for 12- or 24-volt vehicle systems and works with standard or smart alternators.

The BCDC1225D features charging profiles that make the device suitable for charging AGM, Gel, standard lead-acid, calcium, and LiFePO4 batteries. For most applications, the BCDC1225D is designed for 75-200Ah batteries.
