Description
Lifting suspension Jeep Wrangler JL (from 11/2017)
Not for the Jeep JL 2-door + Gladiator JT + Hybrid4xe
One of the first and fundamental modifications to the Jeep Wrangler is always the lift kit. Ground clearance, driving comfort, safety and other modifications such as tires, bumpers, roof racks, etc. are always coordinated with the chassis. This is the only way to achieve the maximum driving experience.
1. Eibach lift springs 50-60mm
The Eibach Pro-Lift kit was developed to give the look and performance of your vehicle the finishing touch. The lift springs offered were developed in collaboration with the suspension specialists from Eibach in Germany, adapted to European road conditions and produced exclusively for Hansen Styling Parts. The springs were developed on a JL that was already loaded with a steel bumper, cable winch, etc. and achieve a lift of approx. 50mm. In standard condition, a lift of up to 60mm is possible.
2. Bilstein B8 high performance damper
Thanks to its extended design, the BILSTEIN B8 5100 fits perfectly with our Eibach lift springs for your Jeep Wrangler JL. The BILSTEIN one-pipe technology and the patented degressive valve system of the BILSTEIN B8 5100 are specifically designed for these requirements. Whether on or off the road, it reacts to changing road conditions without delay, ensuring directional stability, vehicle control and driving comfort.
3. Coupling rods/stabilizers
The longer coupling rods for the front and rear axles keep the movement of the axle within reasonable limits, including in the event of twisting, and significantly improve driving stability.
4. Axle stops/bump stops
The axle stops, also known as bump stops in specialist circles, are installed within the spring travel and thus prevent the shock absorbers from bottoming out or hitting the ground when the wheels are maximally immersed in the wheel arch.
5. Adjustable Panhard rod - front axle
The reinforced, adjustable Panhard rod, for 2-6" lifts, is mandatory. It ensures perfect axle centering after the conversion.
6. Panhard rod holder - rear axle
In order to achieve perfect axle centering on higher vehicles, the Panhard rod offset holder is installed.
7. Brake line
As a rule, the brake line on the Jeep Wrangler JL only needs to be extended from approx. 3". With our suspension suspension, the original brake line holder is removed.
Optional: Trailing arm lowering / Geo Correction Bracket
Installing Geometric Correction Brackets or trailing arm lowering always makes sense if the caster, i.e. the angle at which the tire is behind the vertical axis of rotation, becomes smaller as a result of a built-in lift. Among other things, this can cause the well-known Death Wobble. The geobrackets correct the angle back to the correct setting and improve the driving characteristics.
We also offer this complete chassis in our shop with the Geometric Correction Brackets!
TÜV parts certificate
Delivery comes with a TÜV parts certificate. We will provide you with a lifting chassis that has been tested in accordance with the current guidelines for pedestrian protection (2009/102/EEC) and is TÜV approved.
The difference to other suspension suspensions:
The springs and shock absorbers were manufactured and developed in collaboration with the chassis specialists from Eibach and Bilstein in Germany and adapted to European road conditions. The precise coordination of Eibach suspension springs and Bilstein shock absorbers reduces the uncontrolled movement of the high body of the Jeep Wrangler. The proven BILSTEIN upside-down technology means that the supporting and lateral forces are distributed over a large area and there is a significant increase in torsional rigidity in the connection between the wheel and the body. This significantly improves driving comfort on the road. The steering precision and the load capacity of the vehicle are increased. This guarantees more vehicle control, safe handling and better traction.
