When raising the Toyota Hilux/Land Cruiser or equivalent vehicles, the CV joints are placed at a greater angle, which helps accelerate wear on the joint and puts additional stress on the joint boots, resulting in splitting and premature joint failure.
The mounting kit corrects the geometry of the front axles and constant velocity joints by lowering the front diff by approximately 25 mm.
Reducing the angle at which the CV joints operate avoids the expensive cost of replacing CV joints and boots.
This wear is accelerated when larger and wider wheels and tires are installed.
