Fender flares 30 mm universal

Universal fender flares specially designed for modern vehicles that have only a very narrow fender fold or a rolled fender edge (see drawing). They are attached to the outer edge of the fender using industrial adhesive strips. The sealing lip, which fits tightly to the vehicle, ensures a clean finish and prevents dirt from getting in.
Details:
  • The extensions are glued or additionally screwed into the wheel house on or under the web edge of the body (depending on the size of the extension)
  • the fender flares cannot be painted
  • inexpensive, flexible and therefore almost indestructible rubber extensions
  • ideal for example when widening the wheel spacers or wider tires & rims
Scope of delivery:
  • 4 pieces with a length of 200 cm each
  • 30 mm (the vehicle is widened by 30 mm per fender / 80 mm per axle)
  • TÜV Süd test report (TÜV Süd, Westendstr. 199, 80686 Munich, test report no. 16-00074-CP-BWG-00)
TÜV registration:
  • You will receive a TÜV SÜD test report from us when you deliver the extensions. It is not necessary to register the fender extensions, this is also stated in the report, but we know from experience and from many customer messages that the law enforcement officers like to see a TÜV SÜD confirmation again. Only then will there really be no trouble with the inspection service and that is why we have had a TÜV SÜD report drawn up.
Assembly:
  • the ambient temperature and the temperature of the components or mounting surface must be at least 20° Celsius during assembly and for at least 24 hours thereafter
  • the surfaces on the vehicle for installation must be rust-free, smooth, thoroughly cleaned and free of grease
  • After removing the carrier film, the extension must be pressed onto the surface with high and even pressure for approx. 1 minute
  • the ends of the fender flares can be adjusted to the vehicle's appearance using a sharp carpet knife
  • We recommend that you leave the vehicle for at least 6 hours after installation
  • The final strength of the bonding joints is only achieved after 48 hours
  • Please do not wash the vehicle for at least 48 hours
  • For some widths, some installation situations, structured surfaces or if the installation instructions cannot be followed, additional fastening with e.g. self-tapping screws or body adhesive is required
