- Permissible axle loads: front 1460 kg, rear 1600-2100 kg
For models 76 (from 07-), 78 Troopy & 79, we strongly recommend the OME stabilizer on the rear axle for a permanent load of more than 700KG or high roof structures! You can find the set ->here<-
It is also important when choosing the front springs whether the additional weight is actually present or not – if the wrong spring is chosen just to raise the vehicle even higher, the rebound travel on the shock absorber will be too short and the lifespan will be extremely shortened. Attention, even the use of other, longer shock absorbers does not help – then the cardan shaft hits the stabilizer when rebounding!
