Description

The REDARC BCDC1220-IGN

is a 12-volt, 20-amp DC charger with technology designed to fully charge a lead-acid auxiliary battery. It is suitable for vehicles equipped with an ECU controlled variable voltage alternator. It is fully potted to withstand heat, water, dust and vibration.

The BCDC1220-IGN has a lower voltage setting so it can operate even with a low alternator input voltage.

The BCDC dual battery charger operates with a wide operating range (9 - 32 V) and offers the ability to charge both 12 and 24 volt vehicle systems.

By providing a unique charging profile for each specific battery type, the BCDC charger is able to achieve and maintain optimal charge of the auxiliary batteries while driving. It allows charging an auxiliary battery that has a different characteristic than the starting battery.

The device acts as a double battery isolator and protects the starter battery if the voltage becomes too low.

Tried and tested
