The internet is littered with mediocre lighting. 98% of the driving lights offered on the marketplace are standard imports with the dealer's laser logo and subsequent price markup. Let’s not even get started on the fictitious benefit claims. When you enter the world of STEDI, you buy a product that is mechanically and optically developed with our know-how and our toolmaking, behind which we stand our reputation and our guarantee. Our lights don't fade, turn yellow and drop at the first sign of waves. Our photometric data is laboratory tested, not photo-bought - we stand by it.
Three years after launching the original Type-X, we took an already proven platform and redesigned it from the ground up. Completely new reflector geometry, completely new LEDs and a completely new housing. We have increased the depth of the optics by 35%, allowing for a perfectly collimated beam and the resulting increase in light intensity. The beam diameter achieves a sublime balance between width and throw and emits light up to 1,050 m. Four dedicated built-in wide beam optics distribute the light in the near field and merge beautifully with the spot beam.
