Description
This speedometer calibration kit is a programmable CAN node. When converting vehicles with tire rolling circumferences that differ significantly from the standard ones, the speed display and the odometer can be corrected. This makes it possible, for example, to accept a larger tire rolling circumference or changes to the differential.
functionality
The ABS/ESP control unit sends a speed signal to the instrument cluster via CAN bus. The speedometer calibration kit is installed in front of the instrument cluster and corrects both the speed signal and the odometer in real time. The correction factor can be programmed via USB interface.
The original wheel speed signals are retained. Therefore, the function of the ABS/ESP control unit cannot be affected.
Correction factor: 7%
The control unit has an E-mark and is therefore registration-free.
