The perfectly crafted STEDI™ ST2K Touch LED Light Bars deliver a powerful floodlight and a stable spot, bathing every inch of your journey in brilliant light. Seamlessly integrating with existing lighting systems, the STEDI™ ST2K Touch LED Light Bars precisely illuminate critical areas. With a simple touch, you can experience the magic of the mesmerizing DRL, which transitions from pure white to warm amber, effortlessly adapting to your mood and surroundings. Available in 40" and 50".

The STEDI™ ST2K Touch-Light Bars come with side brackets; sliding brackets are available separately. Below is a brief overview of both mounting options to help you install your ST2K Touch-Light Bar.

Each ST2K Light Bar comes with a pair of steel side brackets. See the bracket mounting instructions below:

Sliding brackets (sold separately):

Please note: The sliding mounts are an optional extra and are not included with the purchase of the ST2K Touch Light Bar. The mounts are, of course, available in our shop.

Assembly

The bracket is easiest to mount before installation. Insert the bracket into the wider opening in the light strip channel and slide it into the desired mounting position. Once the bracket is in position, tighten the two head screws on the locking plate to secure it in the channel.

Mounting the sliding bracket:

Please note: When mounting the sliding bracket to the light fixture, the base may need to be rotated so that the protrusion opens. Alternatively, the bracket can be mounted once the rail insert is on the pole. Once the bracket is attached and the light fixture is tilted into the desired position, tighten the two locking screws on each side of the brackets to securely fasten the light fixture.

Electronics:

Connect the main plug of the light bar to the supplied wiring harness. This is a waterproof connection and is appropriately fused.

Additional cable:

The ST2K Touch features a daytime running light (DRL) function that can be switched between white and amber DRL via the touchscreen. The connector for this light bar has three wires coming from the plug.

Wiring: To wire the DRL function of the ST2K Touch, connect the WHITE wire to a +12V signal. This can be, for example, a separate switch or a parking light/daytime running light signal ( please observe German road traffic regulations! ) from the vehicle. This allows the DRL color of the light bar to be controlled via the touchpad on the side of the light. To control the DRL via a switch in the interior, connect the YELLOW wire to a suitable switch (switch not included).

WHITE: White/amber DRL via the touchpad on the side of the ST2K Touch

YELLOW: Signal cable for DRL control via a switch in the interior

BLUE: Connect this cable to a positive 12V source to activate the E-Mark compliance mode when driving on an official road.

• This reduces the light intensity required in certain European countries.
• Recommendation: Connect this cable to a separate switch. This will allow you to easily switch between modes.

Please note:

(The circle on the lens is not visible in the image above because it was an early prototype and this element was not included.)

DRL:

To activate the ST2K Touch's DRL with the new touch function, follow the steps below.

1. Ensure that the wiring of the ST2K Touch light bar is fully installed in the vehicle via the wiring harness and that the white 12V cable (for the DRL) is properly integrated into the vehicle system.
2. Turn on the vehicle's electrical system (ignition) by either: A) starting the engine or B) turning the ignition key until the vehicle systems turn on.
3. Press your finger on the touch element located on the left side of the ST2K light bar (passenger side).
4. Do not hold the touch element down, but simply press it for 1 second to activate the DRL.
5. Tap and hold once to activate the white DRL.
6. Tap and hold again to activate the yellow DRL.
7. To change the color of the daytime running lights (DRL), simply touch the circle to the left of the light bar lens. This will change the color from a cool 5700 K to a warm 1500 K.

The installation is now complete.
