This speedometer calibration kit is a programmable CAN node. It can be used to correct the speedometer and odometer readings in vehicles with significantly different tire circumferences than the standard model. This makes it possible, for example, to obtain approval for larger tire circumferences or modifications to the differential.
How it works
The ABS/ESP control unit sends a speed signal to the instrument cluster via CAN bus. The speedometer calibration kit is installed in front of the instrument cluster and corrects both the speed signal and the odometer reading in real time. The correction factor can be programmed via a USB interface.
The original wheel speed signals are retained. Therefore, the function of the ABS/ESP control unit cannot be affected.
Correction factor: 5% (Can be adjusted as desired)
The control unit has an E-mark and therefore does not require registration.
