Description
The ARB Flinders roof tent offers a variety of positive features. It lies compactly on the vehicle roof, without any restrictions on camping comfort.
When folded, the roof tent only has a profile of around 20 cm (30 cm with ladder), which means less wind resistance and therefore better aerodynamics during your tour. This makes routes with low treetops or the entrance to garages easier to master. You can either mount the removable ladder on the roof while driving or store it somewhere else.
The interior can be described as a space miracle. Despite the space savings when the Flinders is packed up, you can expect a large interior space. With a lying area of 2.4 x 1.4 m (LxW) and a maximum height of 1.2 m in the middle of the tent, there is enough space for a restful night. One of the highlights is the "Stargazing Window", which allows a clear view of the night sky. All five windows are equipped with zippers and double solid mosquito-proof mesh. No ropes or ground poles are required for the rain and sun sails at the entrance and the two side windows of the Flinders.
It's easy to set up in just a few steps. After you have opened the zipper and levered the tent open with the ladder, all of the inner poles will automatically fan out one after the other. Now all you have to do is move the telescopic rods into their final position - the assembly is complete. The curved bars provide improved head height and prevent water accumulation.
The cover remains fully attached during setup, which not only speeds up the time it takes to set up and take down the tent, but also eliminates the hassle of stowing away the tarpaulin.
The highlights include the specially developed ventilation. An opening has been integrated for maximum air circulation and little condensation inside the tent.
Last but not least, the ARB roof tent offers interior lighting, a 12V socket and two USB charging ports that can easily be connected to your vehicle's 12V socket.
