VB Airsuspensions - The additional air suspension
offers limited manual suspension adjustment. In vehicles with leaf springs, an air bellow is mounted between the frame and the rear axle to support the existing leaf springs. The dual-circuit system allows the left and right suspension to be adjusted independently. This allows the vehicle to be leveled—to a limited extent—even with uneven loading.

Differences between the variants:
Basic Kit:
The VB-SemiAir basic system allows the spring force to be adjusted within certain limits. On vehicles with leaf spring suspension, air bellows are mounted between the frame and the rear axle. The air bellows support the existing leaf spring. The VB-SemiAir basic system is therefore the right choice for vehicles that are usually heavily loaded and only occasionally change loads (the pressure can remain almost constant). The VB-SemiAir basic system requires external pressure, for example, with a tire inflation device.
Comfort Kit:
Like basic kit but with compressor, pressure gauge, switch and universal installation frame (seat console, center console, etc.)
The VB-SemiAir comfort system offers limited (manual) adjustment of the spring force. On vehicles with leaf spring suspension, an air bellow is mounted between the frame and the rear axle. This air bellow supports the existing leaf spring. The VB-SemiAir comfort system is therefore the right choice for vehicles that regularly carry heavy and varying loads.
The VB-SemiAir Comfort System includes the VB-SemiAir base system plus a control panel with two pressure gauges, two up/down switches, and a robust high-performance compressor. The up/down switches allow for easy adjustment of the ride height. The pressure gauges accurately display the pressure (in bar) in the air bellows, making them easy to inflate.
