VB Airsuspensions - The additional air suspension
offers limited options for manually adjusting the suspension. In vehicles with leaf suspension, an air bellows is installed between the frame and rear axle to support the existing leaf suspension. The dual-circuit system allows the suspension to be adjusted independently on the left and right. This means that the vehicle can also be placed horizontally - to a limited extent - if it is unevenly loaded.

Differences between the variants:
Basic kit:
With the VB-SemiAir basic system, the spring force can be adjusted within certain limits. In vehicles with leaf suspension, air bellows are mounted between the frame and the rear axle. The air bellows supports the existing leaf spring. The VB-SemiAir basic system is therefore the right choice for vehicles that are usually heavy and only occasionally loaded with varying loads (the pressure can remain almost the same). The VB-SemiAir basic system must be pressurized externally, for example with a tire inflator.
Comfort kit:
The VB-SemiAir comfort system offers a limited option for adjusting the spring force (manually). In vehicles with leaf suspension, an air bellows is mounted between the frame and the rear axle. This air bellows supports the existing leaf spring. The VB-SemiAir comfort system is therefore the right choice for vehicles that are regularly heavy and loaded with varying loads.
The VB-SemiAir comfort system includes the VB-SemiAir basic system as well as a control panel with two pressure gauges, two high/low switches and a solid high-performance compressor. The driving level can be easily adjusted using the high/low switches. The pressure gauges accurately display the pressure (in bar) in the air bellows so that they can be easily inflated.
