The REDARC Smart Start SBI12 100A is a microprocessor-controlled 12V DC 100A dual battery disconnect switch that protects the starting battery from excessive discharge while allowing the auxiliary battery to charge unneeded loads. The SBI2 delivers 12 volts DC with a continuous output of 100 A.

Energy saving technology
Mainly used in 4WD and commercial vehicles, the battery disconnect switch contains electronic components that prevent the solenoid from generating high voltage transients. It is better than a diode battery disconnect switch because of the voltage drop associated with diode insulation. It features low standby power consumption and a sophisticated fault detection and LED power indicator that warns the user of faults such as over-voltage, brownout and excessive current consumption.
