Cutting-edge performance starts with cutting-edge LED technology. To achieve true category excellence, our Type-X™ Pro is equipped with 37 x Oslon High-Flux LEDs, selected for their highest lumen density per mm2 of any other comparable LED on the market. Compared to the other two leading spotlight brands that offer similar offerings, the LEDs used in Type-X™ PRO have a +23% and +42% higher lumen density per mm2 respectively. The result is a higher net light volume and unrivaled beam delivery.

A WOLF IN WOLF'S CLOTH

The hard-coated optical lens shares the same DNA as ballistic glass, making it virtually indestructible. A UV stabilizer has also been added to ensure our lenses can truly withstand the wear and tear of time and show no discoloration or UV exposure. This allowed us to eliminate any secondary lens covers or filters, which are known to significantly reduce light transmission.

ICONIC PERFORMANCE

With the help of state-of-the-art optical simulation models, the reflector geometry has been optimized again and again in order to achieve usable radiation behavior. Undoubtedly the eye-catcher is the unforgiving beam distance of 1,155m (tested in pairs, combination beams), but the real strength of our Type-X™ PRO lies in the medium to long light distribution that really sets it apart.

Our main focus was on the driver's confidence, by increasing the beam deflection the driver has a longer analysis time. We maximized rider comfort by smoothing the beam and eliminating shadows. We reduced the light wasted in unimportant areas such as treetops and directly in front of the vehicle. The result is a homogeneous, unyielding beam that will support you well in any adventure. .

Unlike our competitors, each Type-X™ PRO lamp features 6 built-in floodlight reflectors for improved light distribution into the street shoulders. The built-in wide-beam reflector eliminates the need to add wide-beam covers, which are not only less efficient at distributing light but also prevent valuable light transmission.
