VB Airsuspensions - The additional air suspension
offers limited manual suspension adjustment. In vehicles with leaf springs, an air bellow is mounted between the frame and the rear axle to support the existing leaf springs. The dual-circuit system allows the left and right suspension to be adjusted independently. This allows the vehicle to be leveled—to a limited extent—even with uneven loading.

Differences between the variants:
Basic Kit:
The VB-SemiAir base system allows the spring force to be adjusted within certain limits. On vehicles with leaf spring suspension, air bellows are mounted between the frame and the rear axle. The air bellows support the existing leaf spring. The VB-SemiAir base system is therefore the right choice for vehicles that are usually heavily loaded and only occasionally change loads (the pressure can remain almost constant). The VB-SemiAir base system requires external pressure, for example, with a tire inflation device.
Basic Kit Plus:
Like the basic kit, but with pressure gauge and universal mounting e.g. driver's seat console or side wall etc.
Comfort Kit:
The VB-SemiAir comfort system offers limited (manual) adjustment of the spring force. On vehicles with leaf spring suspension, an air bellow is mounted between the frame and the rear axle. This air bellow supports the existing leaf spring. The VB-SemiAir comfort system is therefore the right choice for vehicles that regularly carry heavy and varying loads.
The VB-SemiAir Comfort System includes the VB-SemiAir base system plus a control panel with two pressure gauges, two up/down switches, and a robust high-performance compressor. The up/down switches allow for easy adjustment of the ride height. The pressure gauges accurately display the pressure (in bar) in the air bellows, making them easy to inflate.

The VB-LevelAir is a VB-SemiAir base system with automatic height control. With the VB-LevelAir system, the height as well as the minimum and maximum pressure in the air bellows are automatically regulated. This ensures that the vehicle always remains at the correct height and the correct pressure in the air bellows is maintained. The VB-LevelAir system is particularly suitable for vehicles with changing loads.
When the load condition changes, the VB-LevelAir system ensures the correct ride height and pressure in the system. Automatic height control eliminates the need for driver intervention when the load changes. VB-LevelAir is often used in vehicles driven by different drivers.
