This speedometer calibration kit is a programmable CAN node. It can be used to correct the speed display and odometer in vehicle conversions where the tire rolling circumference deviates significantly from the standard. This makes it possible, for example, to make a larger tire rolling circumference or changes to the differential approvable.
Functionality
The ABS/ESP control unit sends a speed signal via CAN bus to the instrument cluster. The speedometer calibration kit is installed in front of the instrument cluster and corrects both the speed signal and the odometer in real-time. The correction factor can be programmed via a USB interface.
The original wheel speed signals are retained. Therefore, the function of the ABS/ESP control unit cannot be impaired.

The control unit has an E-mark and therefore does not require registration.
